Our name comes from an ancient idea: that the body, the mind and the mood are shaped by balance. For us, brewing works the same way: malt, hops, yeast, water, time and patience all need to come together in the right measure.
It all starts with balance
In ancient thought, “humours” were believed to be the fluids that influenced a person’s character, mood and wellbeing. The idea may belong to history, but the word still carries something we believe in: balance.
That is also where good beer begins. Too much bitterness, too much sweetness, too much heaviness or too little character — everything matters. At Humor Beer, we brew with that balance in mind, creating beers with personality, freshness and flavour.

Phlegm — The Phlegmatic Character
Calm, smooth and balanced, the Phlegmatic character brings a sense of ease and clarity. It is gentle without being weak, refreshing without being simple — a reminder that true balance can be just as expressive as intensity.
The ancient theory spoke of four humours, each connected to a different temperament. We like to think every beer has a temperament too — some are bright and refreshing, some are bold and bitter, some are dark and complex.
Our IPA has a bold, expressive character. Our Weiss is softer, fruitier and refreshing. Our Pilsner is clean and balanced. Our Stout is darker, deeper and more intense. Different styles, different moods — all brewed with the same attention to balance
